Event Details:The public will be given an opportunity to learn about, ask questions, and provide comments on the recommended Phase II Stormwater Utility Credit Policy that will go to City Council this Fall. The policy expands on the Phase I Credit Policy that was adopted by City Council in October 2017 with new credits for both residential and non-residential properties.

Beginning in May 2018, property owners were billed for the first-half of the annual fee as a line item on the real estate bill. The Stormwater Utility was adopted by City Council in May 2017 to provide a dedicated funding source to address the increasing costs of recent state and federal Chesapeake Bay pollution reduction mandates. The policy, once adopted, would provide an opportunity for all property owners to earn credits off of their 2019 fees.
