Do you have a favorite house? Maybe it’s your own, or grandma’s. Maybe the President lives in it. Or maybe it is the neighborhood barbershop. Let Sushmita, a local book artist and writer, show you how she makes books that are houses for all kinds of creatures and of course, all kinds of stories. Make a House Storybook of your own and fill it with stories from your life! This program is for children ages 6 through 12 and adult family members welcome to join in. The workshop runs from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The cost is $15 per family and includes materials. Advance registration is required. Call 703.746.4356 for more information or to register.
