Event Details:The Office of Historic Alexandria (OHA), the comprehensive public history agency of the City of Alexandria, will be holding a full-day retreat for all staff on Wednesday, September 13. In order to accommodate this event for its employees, all OHA facilities will be closed on that day, including the Alexandria Archaeology Museum; Alexandria Black History Museum; Archives and Records Center; Fort Ward Museum; Friendship Firehouse Museum; Gadsby’s Tavern Museum; Lloyd House Administrative Offices; Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum; and The Lyceum, Alexandria’s History Museum. All facilities will reopen the following day, September 14, during their regularly scheduled business hours.

Carlyle House Historic Park and the Lee-Fendall House and Gardens, separate Alexandria historic house museums not operated by OHA, will be open during their regular hours on September 13 for public enjoyment.
