Event Details:Learn how Charles Joyce traced the history of Francis Snow’s historical photograph of United States Colored Troops (USCT) at L’Ouverture Hospital in Alexandria. Images of USCT soldiers are uncommon, and remarkably, each man is identified on the back of this albumen photograph. These names provide an unusual opportunity to determine what happened to the men after the Civil War.
