Flood Resilience Plan Community Outreach Meeting

The City is hosting a community outreach meeting to share information about the Flood Resilience Plan. City staff will share a presentation detailing the Flood Resilience Plan, goals for the project, and next steps. The City will hold an opportunity to answer questions from the public. Virtual attendance will also be available via Zoom.

The Patrick Henry Recreation Center offers indoor running/walking lanes; a flex court with full size basketball, volleyball and Pickle Ball courts; multipurpose, arts and crafts, fitness and soft play rooms.
Event Details:Please join us for the Alexandria Flood Resilience Plan Community Meeting on Monday, November 10, at Patrick Henry Recreation Center, 4653 Taney Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22304, and online via Zoom. The meeting will include a presentation summarizing the feedback received from the flood survey, draft flood model results and community vulnerability analysis, a Q&A, and the opportunity to provide input on how flooding impacts the community.

The meeting location is accessible via the FREE DASH Buss Route 8W.

After the meeting, a recording will be posted on the project webpage.
