Event Details:Alfred Dewayne Brown spent ten years on death row in Texas for a crime he did not commit. He was released in June 2015, and he was
the thirteenth person released from death row in Texas since 1973. Mr. Brown was the 154th person released from death row nationally during
the same period.

Join us for a discussion with one of Mr. Brown’s attornies, Brian Stolarz of LeClairRyan’s Alexandria office. Mr. Stolarz will speak
about Dewayne Brown’s exoneration and his book on Mr. Brown’s case, titled Grace and Justice on Death Row.
This lecture is co-sponsored by the Alexandria Black History Museum, the Alexandria African American Hall of Fame, the Alexandria Society for the Preservation of Black Heritage Inc., and the Queen Street All American Bible Study Ministry.
