|Event Details:||Herbal medicine is a major theme in Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander novels as 20th century physician Claire Fraser makes due with the technology of the 18th century. The Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum includes those Claire purchased herself as well as the more common herbs she foraged for.
One-hour tours will focus on the herbal medicines featured in the Outlander novels from cascara to dauco seeds. Enjoy a cup of 18th century-style tea and an herbal craft just like Claire would make. Tours begin every 30 minutes 1 p.m.-4 p.m..
