Vietnam War Veterans Plaque Dedication

VFW Post 609 and American Legion Post 24, in partnership with the Office of Historic Alexandria, are memorializing Alexandrians who lost their lives in the Vietnam War with a plaque dedication ceremony on June 14. Vietnam War Veteran plaque will be dedicated on the exterior of the American Legion Post 24 building at 400 Cameron Street.

Event Details:Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 609 and American Legion Post 24, in partnership with the Office of Historic Alexandria, are memorializing Alexandrians who lost their lives in the Vietnam War.

Unveiling and dedication of the local VSOs’ 2nd plaque (a duplicate) honoring the 68 Alexandrians who died fighting the Vietnam War will take place on Friday, June 14th Flag Day at the side wall of the Gadsby Tavern, 400 Cameron Street, 22314. Refreshments in the Post 24 club room after the ceremony.
