*Breonna's Law is the name given to legislation that ends the use of no-knock warrants. No-knock warrants are warrants issued by a judge that allows law enforcement to enter a property without immediate prior notification of the residents, such as by knocking or ringing a doorbell. This law is named after Breonna Taylor, a 26-year-old EMT, who was fatally shot in her Louisville Kentucky home on March 13, 2020, by two officers using a no-knock warrant.
