21st Annual Veterans Day Ceremony

The one-hour, indoor ceremony will honor both the 68 Alexandrians who died or remain MIA in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War and all veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces.

The “Friends of Rocky Versace” will host the 21st Annual Veterans Day Ceremony in Alexandria on Friday, 11 November 2022 at 1:00 P.M. The approximately 1-hour, indoor Ceremony will include presentation of the DoD, Vietnam Era Veterans Lapel Pin to qualified Veterans in attendance. Also honored and remembered are posthumous Medal of Honor recipient and POW/MIA Captain Rocky Versace as well as the 67 other Alexandrians who died or who are MIA in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War.

Location is indoors at the Mount Vernon Recreation Center in the City of Alexandria, 2701 Commonwealth Ave. (intersection of Commonwealth and Mt Vernon Aves.)
