Event Details:A notice was mailed to participants of the Firefighters and Police Officers Pension Plan on March 15, 2013 regarding the proposed two percent employee contribution rate increase. The City has set aside dates and times for meetings at which staff will explain the proposed amendments and answer any questions. Leaders of the employee associations have been meeting with management representatives to discuss alternative options to the proposed two percent increase. The leaders who have been involved in these discussions have been invited to participate in the meetings listed below.
