Privacy Information Our website Privacy & Legal Notices apply to MyAlex Web Login. Additionally, customers have the right to request deletion of information MyAlex Web Login has obtained from other login providers, as described below. Facebook Information We Request When a customer uses our Facebook login option, MyAlex Web Login requests and stores the following information from Facebook: your Facebook account ID number, your email address, and your names (family name, given name, and full "display" name). No additional information or Facebook account permissions are obtained. If you logged in to MyAlex Web Login with Facebook prior to April 2019, we may have also requested and recorded your gender; you may remove the gender information by setting its value to "Unspecified" on our Edit Account Profile page and clicking "Save my profile". We use your Facebook account number to uniquely identify you; we require your email address to uniquely identify you and prepopulate communication preferences; we use your name to personalize your experience on our websites. We also store access tokens that can only access the information described above; our system uses these periodically to verify that you have not deliberately revoked MyAlex Web Login's permissions, so that you can effectively log out of MyAlex without needing to visit our site. Deleting Your Information If you wish to delete all information MyAlex Web Login has obtained from Facebook, please email privacy@alexandriava.gov. We will also delete Facebook platform data about your account if requested to do so by Facebook, as required by their Platform Terms. Please note that by deleting your Facebook platform data, MyAlex Web Login sessions related to that Facebook account will be invalidated, as we will also delete identity verification tokens associated with your Facebook account. You may log in again at any time, but doing so would create a brand-new MyAlex Web Login record, and some City websites you had used in the past, such as our self-service Residential Parking Permit guest & visitor permit system, may require you to provide additional information before you may resume using them, and not reveal to you information from transactions made before your Facebook data was deleted. No additional information or Google account permissions are obtained.
