Event Details:Safely dispose of unneeded prescription and over-the-counter medications, including those prescribed by veterinarians, during National Prescription Drug Take Back Day from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

As part of the Drug Enforcement Administration's National Drug Take Back Day, the Alexandria Police Department, Alexandria Sheriff’s Office, and Alexandria Health Department, with cooperation from the Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition of Alexandria, are staffing multiple drop-off locations for safe medication disposal.

Drop off unused or expired medication from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. No needles are accepted at this site.

The service is free and anonymous; no questions asked.
