Event Details:Following a Proclamation for Kim D. Neal, presented by Mayor Gaskins there will be a roundtable discussion. Oversight in Action: Conversations on Policing is a community roundtable hosted by the Alexandria Independent Policing Auditor. This event invites residents, stakeholders, and city leaders to engage in open and constructive dialogue about policing practices, community safety, and the role of civilian oversight in Alexandria.

Through moderated conversations and audience engagement, participants will explore key issues such as transparency, accountability, and building trust between the community and law enforcement. The goal is to amplify community voices, foster mutual understanding, and shape a shared vision for public safety that reflects Alexandria’s values.
