Project Discovery-Alexandria’s 17th Annual 3K Walk

Join us for the 17th Annual 3K Walkathon. Project Discovery uses funds raised to help program participants succeed at getting into and graduating from college.

Location:Fort Ward Park Museum, 4301 W. Braddock Rd.
Event Details:Project Discovery uses funds raised to help program participants succeed at getting into and graduating from college. The program serves T.C. Williams High School students with limited financial resources and/or who will be the first in their family to go to college. Proceeds from this 3K Walk pay for activities, such as college visits and workshops with information on the college admissions and financial aid application processes, goal setting, and personal development.

Registration starts at 8 a.m. Walkers may also create teams. The top three teams with the most registered walkers will be recognized with certificates during the opening ceremony. Each team member must pay a walker registration fee.
