2026 Commonwealth’s Attorney Community Academy

The Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney invites Alexandria residents to participate in the Community Academy — a one-day educational program designed to demystify the criminal justice system. Participants will hear directly from the Commonwealth’s Attorney, a Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney, the Director of Special Programs, and the Victim/Witness Assistance Program Coordinator. Topics include charging decisions, victim services, the pursuit of fair justice, and more. The program is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
