7th Annual Walk & Family Festival. This event brings awareness for childhood cancer and calls attention to the psychological issues and needs of children with cancer and their families. This event is a non-profit fundraiser, held at St. Stephen's & St. Agnes School, 1000 St. Stephen's Road. Amusement rides, moon bounce and music.

Arrival and welcome of the Hokule'a canoe to the DC area. The Hokule'a canoe will navigate the Potomac to the pier at the Waterfront Park in Alexandria, accompanied by an escort vessel. There will also be Hawaiian musicians and Hula group dancers.

Annual outdoor fun-oriented fundraiser for families and children to support SCAN's abuse and neglect prevention program. Event held at Joseph Hensley Park, 4200 Eisenhower Avenue. The fields will be used for croquet tournament rounds and attendees will be able to participate in other game type activities; food vendors and concession sales.

One of Del Ray’s favorite traditions is the Annual Del Ray Halloween Parade down Mt. Vernon Avenue to the field at Mt. Vernon Recreation Center. Costumed children, adults, strollers and pets are all invited to march and show off their finest and scariest Halloween garb.
