The City of Alexandria will hold a public groundbreaking ceremony for the new Potomac Yard Metrorail Station on December 19, from 2 to 3 p.m. The event will take place at the future location of the station’s northwest entrance, which is adjacent to the Regal Potomac Yard movie theater (3601 Potomac Ave.).
