 please RSVP here by August 23. The exhibition features 106 black-and-whit
 e images taken in 1985 by photographer Nina Tisara documenting fifty wors
 hip groups throughout the City of Alexandria. The images provide a portra
 it of Alexandria's worship community at that time. Ms. Tisara photographe
 d worship in many different churches\, as well as synagogues and a home w
 here Buddhist monks lived and worshipped. There were no mosques within th
 e city\, so none were available to be included. Nina Tisara sought to doc
 ument "the breadth\, variety\, and vitality of worship in the city." She 
 came to call her project Converging Paths because the experience led her 
 to conclude that\, despite the many different paths worship takes\, "we a
