 n\nVaccines are one of the most powerful tools to end the pandemic. Based
  on groundbreaking medical research\, vaccines are a safe way to protect 
 loved ones\, save lives\, and avoid economically damaging lockdowns. With
  vaccines being developed so quickly\, some members of the community are 
 understandably concerned. \n\nIn addition to answering questions from the
  community\, the panel will discuss COVID-19 vaccine safety and effective
 ness\, the role vaccines play in ending the pandemic\, who is currently e
 ligible to be vaccinated\, and what to expect when vaccines are more wide
 ly available. \n\nA collaboration between the City of Alexandria\, the Al
 exandria Health Department\, the Alexandria Human Rights Commission\, the
  Alexandria Chapter of the NAACP\, and Tenants and Workers United\, this 
 event will be the first in a series of panels addressing the impacts of t
