 ute tour of Fort Ward led by a Union interpreter will give participants a
  glimpse into the history\, construction and soldier life of the Defenses
  of Washington.  In the afternoon\, enjoy a concert of Civil War-era musi
 c on the Museum lawn performed by the 8th "Green Machine" Division Band\,
  a historical musical ensemble composed of George Mason University studen
 ts.  The 8th GM Division Band performs Civil War compositions in period u
 niform at a variety of historical events and Civil War sites.  Program is
