Inspired by the Fresnel lens at historic Jones Point Lighthouse, Mirror Mirror beckons visitors with brilliant hues. When the sun is low, it responds to sound with illuminated color.

The City of Alexandria commissioned these free public performances, to be inspired by and in conversation with the installation.

Mirror Mirror by SOFTlab is on view through November 2019. Commissioned by the City of Alexandria through the Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities' Arts Division, it is the inaugural work for "Site See: New Views in Old Town." This annual presentation of temporary public art showcases innovative contemporary work at Waterfront Park.
