Please do not cut Duncan's evening hours! I have tutored there as an adult literacy teacher for almost three years. Duncan is always busy. The library is a really important part of the neighborhood. The Council cutting the library's hours sends the message that they don't know or don't care (or both) about how important the library is to Del Ray. I work during the week and can only use the library's services on their late nights or on Saturdays, and I go at least twice a week. I would never vote for someone who would approve cutting the library services. It's one of the few things I'm happy to pay taxes for.
