I grew up at the local city swimming pool in my neighborhood (not an Alexandria native). Our city was much small with a much smaller budget than Alexandria. It would be an absolute shame to loose one of the few outdoor pools the city has to offer. When we purchased our home, being in close proximity to the pool was a major factor for our family. I envisioned my kids spending summers at the pool with friends as I once did. Alexandria is a wonderful place to raise a family because of resources like a community pool! Please reconsider!

FY 14 Budget Process
