St. Asaph Street for the unveiling of a new hist oric marker that tells the story of Benjamin Thomas along with a brief his tory of the jail that was located on the site from 1827-1967. Participants will be invited to solemnly walk the half-mile trail the lynch mob took d own St. Asaph Street to King Street and then to the intersection with Fair fax Street. Upon arriving at the site of the lynching of Benjamin Thomas w e will hold a wreath-laying ceremony. Transportation will be provided for those who can not easily participate in the procession.
