 or the annual Alexandria Youth Leadership Conference. This year's hybrid c
 onference will be held virtually August 9 and 10\, 1-4:30 p.m.\, and in-pe
 rson on August 11\, 1-5 p.m.\, at Beatley Central Library (5005 Duke St.)\
 n\nParticipants who attend the conference in its entirety are eligible to 
 receive a $20 gift card! This event is free and youth must register by Aug
 ust 5.\n\nThe Youth Leadership Conference empowers emerging young leaders 
 by providing training opportunities and connecting them to resources in th
 eir community. This event is hosted by the Alexandria Campaign on Adolesce
 nt Pregnancy\, the Alexandria Sexual Assault Center\, the Alexandria Libra
 ry\, and the Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition of Alexandria.\n\n\nLoca
