 sional musicians that have toured with some of the best local and internat
 ionally renowned bands in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region. Fo
 unded in Puerto Rico by singer-songwriter Maurice Sanabria-Ortiz and percu
 ssionist Roberto Candelario\, Kadencia was reborn in late 2018\, with the 
 help of percussionists Maurice "Tito" Sanabria and Santos Ramirez\, and no
 w calls Richmond\, Virginia its home base. The band has quickly made an im
 pact in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States through performances 
 that deliver heavy-hitting original music. The band uses Bomba\, Plena\, a
 nd Salsa to promulgate Puerto Rican culture\, educate audiences on the Isl
 and's native musical expressions\, and make audiences move in ways they ne
