 ass band music!   A 90-minute tour of Fort Ward led by a Union interpreter
  will give participants a glimpse into the history\, construction and sold
 ier life of the Defenses of Washington.  In the afternoon\, enjoy a concer
 t of Civil War-era music on the Museum lawn performed by the 8th "Green Ma
 chine" Division Band\, a historical musical ensemble composed of George Ma
 son University students.  The 8th GM Division Band performs Civil War comp
 ositions in period uniform at a variety of historical events and Civil War
