 ing in Alexandria. Built as part of the Lanham Act of WWII\, Chinquapin Vi
 llage\, Ramsey Homes\, and Cameron Valley provided quarters for war worker
 s\, veterans\, and service personnel and their families. This housing and 
 the families who lived there transformed Alexandria.\n\nThis lecture is pr
 esented in partnership with the Alexandria Historical Society (AHS). AHS m
