 mmer Festival sponsored by Ting Internet on Friday\, June 16 and Saturday\
 , June 17\, 2023 as the City of Alexandria's Office of the Arts is joins f
 orces again with Visit Alexandria for the free\, two-day event.\n\nThe 45t
 h Annual Alexandria Jazz Fest will open the weekend festivities at Waterfr
 ont Park on Friday\, June 16\, from 6 to 9 p.m. with three renowned perfor
 mance groups accented by readings from some of Alexandria's poets between 
 sets and a live mural painting throughout the evening.\n\nThe free\, two-d
 ay Portside in Old Town Festival continues Saturday\, June 17\, from 1 to 
 9 p.m. with an array of live music\, local craft beer from Port City Brewi
 ng Company and fun for the whole family with hands-on art and history acti
