From each of these viewpoints\, the artwork alludes to the Metro stations in d ramatically different ways: from the side as a convex object that loosely evokes the coffered stations and Metro's gridded logo\, and from below as a concave volume making the station clearly visible and emphasizing its dr amatic one-point perspective.\n\nThe event is jointly hosted by the Washin gton Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA)'s Art in Transit Program and the City of Alexandria's Office of the Arts.\n\nLocation: WMATA Office s @ 2401 Mill Road\, Alexandria\, VA 22314\n\nAbout FreelandBuck:\n\nFreel andBuck is both an artistic collaboration and an architectural practice.
