or the indie folk band Eddie From Ohio has also recorded several solo alb
ums\, including 2017's Sounds Like Home: Songs\nFrom the Musical\, Light
Years.\n\nDuring the ceremony\, Mayor Justin Wilson and members of City C
ouncil will light a candelabrum that the late Holocaust survivor Charlene
Schiff and her husband\, Ed\, donated to the city. The 54-inch high\, so
lid brass candelabrum was donated in memory of Charlene Schiff's parents
and sister\, and the six million Jews and millions of others who perished
in the Holocaust. The Schiff candelabrum is also made available to schoo
ls and civic groups studying the Holocaust.\n\nThe U.S. Holocaust Memoria

The Town Crier will call every
one to gather around the tree to help countdown to the lighting. Then\, a
fter 7pm enjoy a singalong at the tree while Santa and Mrs. Claus walk th
e Square and visit with families until 8pm. \n

g Safety Month with a free Kick-Off Event on May 2\, from 11 a.m. until 1
p.m.\, in Market Square (301 King Street).\n

Before the main event\, HILTI is hosting t
he first of two free training sessions beginning at 10 a.m. "\;Fire S
topping Techniques Utilized in Construction.? After the kick-off event\,
Simpson Strong-Tie is hosting "\;Deck Safety at Home"\; at 1 p.m.
The training sessions will provide a total of 2 hours of Continuing Educ
ation Units (CEUs). Complimentary coffee beverages and light snacks will
be provided to course participants beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the Chet and
Sabra Avery conference room (Room 2000) at City Hall. \n
