aker for this year's Days of Remembrance will be Robbie Schaefer\, a musi
cian\, songwriter\, and theatre\nartist devoted to service through the ar
ts. He is the son of a Holocaust survivor. The guitarist and songwriter f
or the indie folk band Eddie From Ohio has also recorded several solo alb
ums\, including 2017's Sounds Like Home: Songs\nFrom the Musical\, Light
Years.\n\nDuring the ceremony\, Mayor Justin Wilson and members of City C
ouncil will light a candelabrum that the late Holocaust survivor Charlene
Schiff and her husband\, Ed\, donated to the city. The 54-inch high\, so
lid brass candelabrum was donated in memory of Charlene Schiff's parents
and sister\, and the six million Jews and millions of others who perished
in the Holocaust. The Schiff candelabrum is also made available to schoo
ls and civic groups studying the Holocaust.\n\nThe U.S. Holocaust Memoria
l Museum leads the nation in the weeklong Days of Remembrance commemorati
on\, in accordance with Congressional mandate.\n\nInformation on antisemi
