 fering will be collected to benefit two $3000 scholarships established by
  the Alexandria Community Remembrance Project. These scholarships\, first
  awarded in 2024\, recognize and remember this City's known lynching vict
 ims: Joseph McCoy (1897) and Benjamin Thomas (1899)\, by providing schola
 rships to two Alexandria City High School students annually. \n\nJoin wit
