 Board meetings every Wednesday and convene immediately into Executive Sess
 ion to discuss Legal\, Real Estate and\, Personnel issues. The meetings wi
 ll begin at 8:00 am and it will be a virtual event only.\n\nDue to the COV
 ID-19 Pandemic emergency\, the August 2022 Special Board meetings of the A
 lexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority Board of Commissioners is be
 ing held electronically pursuant to Virginia Code Section 2.2-3708.2(A)(3)
  and the Continuity of Government ordinance adopted by the City Council on
  June 20\, 2020\, to undertake essential business. All of the members of t
 he public body and staff are participating from remote locations through a
  Zoom meeting. This meeting is being held electronically\, unless a determ
 ination is made that it is safe enough to be held in person in the Board R

  12th graders residing in the City of Alexandria are invited to register f
 or the annual Alexandria Youth Leadership Conference. This year's hybrid c
 onference will be held virtually August 9 and 10\, 1-4:30 p.m.\, and in-pe
 rson on August 11\, 1-5 p.m.\, at Beatley Central Library (5005 Duke St.)\
 n\nParticipants who attend the conference in its entirety are eligible to 
 receive a $20 gift card! This event is free and youth must register by Aug
 ust 5.\n\nThe Youth Leadership Conference empowers emerging young leaders 
 by providing training opportunities and connecting them to resources in th
