  to leverage a popular annual museum program to share elements of Alexandr
 ia's African American history\, residents have raised concerns about the e
 vent being perceived as disrespectful. Disrespect was never our intent and
  we have canceled the event. OHA strives to create historical programs tha
 t are uplifting and done through a lens of equity. Unfortunately\, we fail
 ed to do so with this event. We are very proud of our African American his
 tory and always want to improve the visitor experience. We appreciate thos
 e community members letting us know their concerns.\nThis scavenger hunt i
 s created especially for children ages 9-13\, but open to all who have rea
 d the full Harry Potter series. The scavenger hunt can be completed electr
 onically in Survey Monkey or by printing a PDF .  This year - if you turn 
 in your electronic version or completed paper copy to the Alexandria Histo
 ry Museum at the Lyceum by August 7\, you will be entered into a drawing\,
  with five random winners selected. All local history trivia answers can b
 e found online with relevant keyword searches in your preferred search eng
 ine.\n\nThis is a free activity however donations are welcome. Historic Al
 exandria does receive City operational funding to support its mission\; ho
 wever\, these resources do not cover the full scope of its strategic goals
  and projects. Donations\, program revenue\, and grant funding help supple
 ment staff\, conservation work\, and educational programs. Admission and r
 ental fees also support these efforts\, as well as contribute to the City'
