 egin at 8:00 am and it will be a virtual event only.\n\nDue to the COVID-1
 9 Pandemic emergency\, the August 2022 Special Board meetings of the Alexa
 ndria Redevelopment and Housing Authority Board of Commissioners is being 
 held electronically pursuant to Virginia Code Section 2.2-3708.2(A)(3) and
  the Continuity of Government ordinance adopted by the City Council on Jun
 e 20\, 2020\, to undertake essential business. All of the members of the p
 ublic body and staff are participating from remote locations through a Zoo
 m meeting. This meeting is being held electronically\, unless a determinat
 ion is made that it is safe enough to be held in person in the Board Room

 he annual Alexandria Youth Leadership Conference. This year's hybrid confe
 rence will be held virtually August 9 and 10\, 1-4:30 p.m.\, and in-person
  on August 11\, 1-5 p.m.\, at Beatley Central Library (5005 Duke St.)\n\nP
 articipants who attend the conference in its entirety are eligible to rece
 ive a $20 gift card! This event is free and youth must register by August 
 5.\n\nThe Youth Leadership Conference empowers emerging young leaders by p
 roviding training opportunities and connecting them to resources in their
