DESCRIPTION:The City's Ad Hoc Monitoring Group on Waterfront Construction h
 as been established to proactively address impacts such as noise\, hauling
 \, dust and other potential impacts once development along the Waterfront 
 begins.  The Monitoring Group will work with the community to seek to mini
 mize construction related impacts when feasible.  The Monitoring Group mem
 bers include a representative from each of the following organizations:  t
 he Alexandria Waterfront Commission\, Friends of the Alexandria Waterfront
 \, Waterford Homeowners Association\, Alexandria Chamber of Commerce\, Old
  Town Civic Association\, and the development community.   The first Monit
 oring Group meeting will be held Monday\, December 8\, from 7 - 9:00 p.m.\
