  for an immersive day in the fashions of the Federal City of Washington.  
 Speaker's will explore the influences on fashion in 1814\, the cut and con
 struction of 1812 military uniforms\, the creation of race-based fashions 
 in the new nation\, and a detailed look at one fashionable wardrobe.  Sess
 ions are offered a-la-carte and a special 1814 inspired menu will be offer
 ed by Gadsby's Tavern Restaurant.  Once again\, the museum is pleased to o
 ffer a symposium shop with a selection of gift items and scholarly publica
