 And how do we know?\n\nAs part of Virginia Archaeology Month\, Paula Whita
 cre tells the story of Julia Wilbur through her diaries\, letters\, and ot
 her writings and photos. Paula has transcribed and annotated one set of Ju
 lia Wilbur's diaries and is coordinating a project to make more of her wri
 ting available to the public.
