 th older adults and persons with disabilities\, consider volunteering as a
 n Ombudsman.  Volunteers are needed to serve as Ombudsmen in nursing homes
  and assisted living facilities in Alexandria.  An Ombudsman does not have
  enforcement power\, but rather acts as an advocate for residents to help 
 them find creative solutions to problems.  Volunteer Ombudsmen dedicate fo
 ur (4) hours per week for one year.  Visits must occur between 8:00 a.m. a
 nd 6:00 p.m. on weekdays. On-going training and support provided.\nIf you
