DESCRIPTION:The Department of Recreation\, Parks\, and Cultural Activities 
 is seeking public comment on the proposed amendment to the Public Open Spa
 ce zone. The zone text amendment will improve implementation of typical re
 creational facilities and safety improvements and increase efficiencies pr
 ocesses of approved plans. The initiative will support the City Council 20
 22 Community Priority to Support Youth and Families by expanding for impro
 ving the City's ability to implement community-based plan recommendations 
 and the City's goal of providing safe and equitable access to facilities a
 nd services.
