 's National Drug Take Back Day\, the Alexandria Police Department\, Alexan
 dria Sheriff's Office\, and Alexandria Health Department\, with cooperatio
 n from the Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition of Alexandria\, are staffi
 ng multiple drop-off locations for safe medication disposal.\n\nDrop off u
 nused or expired medication at the Neighborhood Pharmacy of Del Ray from 1
 0:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. No needles are accepted at this site.\n\nCan't make

 s do not know how to properly dispose of unused medication\, often flushin
 g it down the toilet or throwing it away - both potential safety and healt
 h hazards.\n\nDrug take back days and permanent drop boxes also support th
