DESCRIPTION:Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic emergency\, the September 9th  mee
 ting of the Supplemental Retirement Board\, Fire and Police Pension Board 
 and Other Post Employment Board is being held electronically pursuant to V
 irginia Code Section 2.2- 3708.2(A)(3)\, the Continuity of Government ordi
 nance adopted by the City Council on June 20\, 2020 or Section 4-0.01(g) i
 n HB29 and HB30\, enacted by the 2020 Virginia General Assembly (Virginia 
 Acts of Assembly Ch. 1283 and 1289)\, to undertake essential business. All
  of the members of the Board and staff are participating from remote locat
 ions through Zoom. This meeting is being held electronically\, unless a de
 termination is made that it is safe enough to be held in person in the Cit
 y Council Chamber at 301 King Street\, Alexandria\, VA. Electronic access 
 will be provided in either event. The meeting can be accessed by the publi
 c through Zoom. Public comment will not be received at the meeting. For re

 ginia Relay 711\nMeeting of the Supplemental Retirement Plan Pension Board
 . The Board manages the investments of the pension plan assets. This plan 
 provides retirement benefits for eligible General Schedule employees\, Dep
 uty Sheriffs\, Medics\, and Fire Marshals. During the meeting the Board ma
 y review the fund's investments and hear from current and potential invest
 ment managers. During each meeting there may be an education segment. The 
 Board may hear other matters brought to their attention. Some meetings are
  joint meetings with the Firefighters and Police Officers Pension Plan Boa
 rd. The event end time is approximate.
