DESCRIPTION:Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic emergency\, the May 5th  meeting o
 f the Supplemental Retirement Board is being held electronically pursuant 
 to Virginia Code Section 2.2- 3708.2(A)(3)\, the Continuity of Government 
 ordinance adopted by the City Council on June 20\, 2020 or Section 4-0.01(
 g) in HB29 and HB30\, enacted by the 2020 Virginia General Assembly (Virgi
 nia Acts of Assembly Ch. 1283 and 1289)\, to undertake essential business.
  All of the members of the Board and staff are participating from remote l
 ocations through Zoom. This meeting is being held electronically\, unless 
 a determination is made that it is safe enough to be held in person in the
  City Council Chamber at 301 King Street\, Alexandria\, VA. Electronic acc
 ess will be provided in either event. The meeting can be accessed by the p
 ublic through Zoom. Public comment will not be received at the meeting. Fo

  Virginia Relay 711Meeting of the Supplemental Retirement Plan Pension Boa
 rd. The Board manages the investments of the pension plan assets. This pla
 n provides retirement benefits for eligible General Schedule employees\, D
 eputy Sheriffs\, Medics\, and Fire Marshals. During the meeting the Board 
 may review the fund's investments and hear from current and potential inve
 stment managers. During each meeting there may be an education segment. Th
 e Board may hear other matters brought to their attention. Some meetings a
 re joint meetings with the Firefighters and Police Officers Pension Plan B
 oard. The event end time is approximate.
