DESCRIPTION:Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic emergency\, the April 7th  meeting
  of the Supplemental Retirement Board is being held electronically pursuan
 t to Virginia Code Section 2.2- 3708.2(A)(3)\, the Continuity of Governmen
 t ordinance adopted by the City Council on June 20\, 2020 or Section 4-0.0
 1(g) in HB29 and HB30\, enacted by the 2020 Virginia General Assembly (Vir
 ginia Acts of Assembly Ch. 1283 and 1289)\, to undertake essential busines
 s. All of the members of the Board and staff are participating from remote
  locations through Zoom. This meeting is being held electronically\, unles
 s a determination is made that it is safe enough to be held in person in t
 he City Council Chamber at 301 King Street\, Alexandria\, VA. Electronic a
 ccess will be provided in either event. The meeting can be accessed by the
  public through Zoom. Public comment will not be received at the meeting.

 \, Virginia Relay 711Meeting of the Supplemental Retirement Plan Pension B
 oard. The Board manages the investments of the pension plan assets. This p
 lan provides retirement benefits for eligible General Schedule employees\,
  Deputy Sheriffs\, Medics\, and Fire Marshals. During the meeting the Boar
 d may review the fund's investments and hear from current and potential in
 vestment managers. During each meeting there may be an education segment. 
 The Board may hear other matters brought to their attention. Some meetings
  are joint meetings with the Firefighters and Police Officers Pension Plan
  Board. The event end time is approximate.
