DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, March 18\, youth in Alexandria will be empowered
  to take action against tobacco use through an annual day of activism know
 n as Take Down Tobacco National Day of Action (formerly Kick Butts Day)\, 
 introduced by the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids. Each year\, more than 2\
 ,000 events are held around the country mobilizing youth to raise awarenes
 s about the problems of tobacco use in schools and the community. Take Dow
 n Tobacco National Day of Action will engage Alexandria youth in ensuring 
 that tobacco vendors are training staff and checking photo IDs for every t
 obacco sale.
