 our family.  Artist Sushmita Mazumdar will teach you how to make a handmad
 e storybook in which you can write the story and make the art to go with i
 t.  The photos make the cover of this lovely keepsake for the family.   \n
 \n \n\nInspired by the Living Legends of Alexandria exhibit currently on v
 iew at the Alexandria Black History Museum\, Family Legends of Alexandria 
 programs encourage multigenerational story-sharing through workshops that 
 include writing\, photography\, and book arts.  Since 2011\, founder Nina 
 Tisara and Arlington-based artist Sushmita Mazumdar have been encouraging 
 children to ask for and document the stories of their families\, as they a
