DESCRIPTION:The 2019 Alexandria Beautification Awards ceremony will recogni
 ze residents\, organizations\, and businesses and community groups for the
 ir efforts in contributing to the beautification of the City of Alexandria
 . Awards will be presented in six categories: Excellence in Architecture\,
  Residential Beautification\, Commercial Beautification\, Community Beauti
 fication\, Sustainable Beautification and Green Practices. Awards will be 
 presented by Mayor Wilson\, City Council and members of the Beautification
  Commission. The ceremony will include a keynote speech\, awards presentat
 ion and light refreshments. \n \nThe event is open to the public. All are
