 ur 3-session workshop led by period clothing experts presenting instructio
 ns for creating a Federal/Regency period gown perfect for the Birthnight o
 r Jane Austen Balls. \n\nThe workshops will focus on custom-fitting the ba
 sic gown and working with sheer\, silky\, and gauzy fabrics. Before the wo
 rkshop begins\, instructors will provide advice on fashionable styles and 
 fabrics for the period and sources for appropriate patterns and materials.
   Students are responsible for purchasing their own fabric\, pattern\, and
  supplies and bringing them to the class!  \n\nSpace is very limited\; reg
 istration is required and will close December 15. \n\nFor the intermediate
  sewer\, hand stitcher. Students must have made at least one complete garm
 ent using a commercial pattern and have access to a sewing machine at home
 . Students will be expected to work at home between classes to complete th
 e gown. \n\n\n\nLocation: Gadsby's Tavern Museum\, 134 N. Royal St.\nFees:
